Five groups come to the opening of the Styriarte 2022, travelling to and through the city of Graz from different regions of Styria and by different routes: they improvise and make music on the way, play the host, participate themselves, occupy and transform public spaces and then move on. Getting around by bus, train, tram, bicycle and on foot, they are each accompanied by a group of fellow travellers who contribute to the enjoyable process of creating musical places. They all make their way to the Helmut List Halle, where musicians and audience meet to mingle and create music together.
