DENO ESRAJ

Denovaire comes from the field of Avantgarde music and has finished his Composition Master degree in Graz. He studied with G.F. Haas, Beat Furrer, G. Kühr, P. Billone and others. During journeys to India he was able to study Indian music on a traditional string instrument with Ustad Arshad Khan/Delhi and Ustad Sukhdev Mishra/Varanasi. This knowledge is also transferred into his pieces although quite subtle, never with the idea to only fuse asian and European sounds, but to isolate certain aspects and grow them in a new environment.
Now he is into producing music, composing chamber music as well as playing free improvised music and working with various kinds of artists on a possibly broad base of understanding reaching from hardcore experimental glitch´n crackling over world music to stage and film music.
